Family Brunch 2009

Family Brunch - Belvoirpark Zurich

In spite of the economic crisis, our 2009 brunch was a very well-attended and successful event. The results of the fundraising were very satisfactory, and we are very thankful to all those who attended and donated.
During the brunch, we introduced our new name, identity, and completely updated homepage, as well as presented the friends and volunteers who supported us with their work. Like every year, we showed a video with stories highlighting our projects.

This year’s focus was split in two themes: the current situation of the Home for Single Mothers after 9 years of work, and our main project in 2008: The total renovation of "San Jose de Calasanz", the bakery for handicapped children and young people.

Both stories were very moving and showed how important and necessary the jobs that we did were.
Since many of our small ones aren’t that small anymore, as of this year we are offering two children’s programs: one for younger children and one for older children, and both groups very much appreciate the programs.
If you have time to see our pictures, you will see Kira, one of the main attractions for the children (and many grown-ups as well): a beautiful, long, and child-friendly snake.
